MetalCraft Marine delivered a new fireboat to the Stamford Fire Department this past August. The 35’9”x10’9″ FireStorm 32 is powered by two 420-hp Cummins 5.9 engines matched with two Hamilton 274 waterjets. It is equipped with a Hale 1500 fire pump which can pump 1,750 gpm. The vessel has a top speed of 38 knots.
